Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has urged Karim Benzema to win this year’s Ballon d’Or. After doing a great job consistently,

even though the “White King” has had both good and bad times over the past several seasons, but Benzema was able to maintain its own standards excellently.

The France international hopes to score 30 goals and provide nine assists under Zidane last season. With 10 goals and seven assists in the first 10 games of the season, the

33-year-old has admitted he wants to win the Ballon d’Or to follow in Zidane’s footsteps. Which he

regarded as his own idol, meanwhile, Zidane considers Benzema to be worthy of the award after a great performance.

“Benzema deserves the Ballon d’Or,” he told  ufabet .

“He’s an incredible player. One of the people I have had the honor to work with.”

The Frenchman has been quietly playing at another level for a while now, and speaking to Telefoot, Zidane admitted that he wants to see Benzema given the praise he deserves at the Ballon d’Or ceremony.

“Benzema deserves to win this Ballon d’Or,” Zidane said. “He’s an incredible player, one which I had the great honour of training.

 And I hope he will be recognized with this Ballon d’Or.”
